It was not too long ago when human beings embarked on worrying about the changing climatic and geographic conditions of the planet they live on. Though there are a lot of countries and regions which are still almost not aware of this chaos like developing countries. To be precise under-developing countries are not completely involved in the destruction of the natural atmosphere, in fact, they are the victims of this situation. Taking the sub-continent or more specifically Pakistan into account heatwaves, floods, droughts and the minimal time period occupied by spring and autumn are major issues. However, awareness regarding how to tackle or avoid them is yet not seen. Few forethought steps are being prescribed by the officials when things start getting worse. Like during the heatwave, last-moment do's and don'ts advertisements were seen but on the other hand offices and educational institutions were following the usual routine. So, limited literacy without enforcement is almost of no use. Another important factor that can be noticed in Pakistan, is the minimal or reduced tenure of spring and autumn. However, there are not any serious precautions taken to observe and tackle this climatic variation. The abrupt conversion of winters to summers and vice versa is becoming something normal. In some cases, no sign of autumn can be observed throughout the cold season. The 2022 flood situation in Pakistan needs no introduction as well it not just killed almost 1160 individuals but also resulted in directly affecting 33 million persons yet setting aside a $30 billion financial loss. Last-moment warnings for the public to move toward the safe zones almost resulted in uselessly, and only a few of them were timely able to completely survive. Nonetheless, even after facing severe climatic and atmospheric modifications literacy concerning this matter is not that much highlighted or talked about. The worst thing is created by the influence of the “job-oriented” education system. Apart from annually suffering from the flood situation, manpower is incognizance of swimming skills and didn't even know how to cooperate with or provide a helping hand to government officials in the implementation of desperate measures which are taken to prevent grave outcomes or scenarios. Besides the public must be aware of changing weather conditions and how to positively influence and manipulate them rather than continuously negatively affecting them. Like avoiding creating air pollution through burning the waste material of crops etc. while completely ignoring the cautionary measure provided by the government and because of which health issues and accidents are being recorded. Nevertheless, climatic literacy is not commonly followed or discussed in Pakistan in spite of the fact that the country is facing the music of climatic changes one after another. With the help of media, literature, and influential individuals the country’s government can easily implement an emergency situation or steps to protect the public and the natural atmosphere from severe consequences or destructive damage.
