Abigail-Tydale Bassey is a creative writer and aspiring policy leader from Nigeria. Her greatest inspiration are the writers who came before her, especially Rumi, Maya Angelou, Rupi Kaur, Nikita Gill, Layli Long Soldier, Anne Boyer, Chimamanda Adichie, and her grandmother and mother, who are so verbally poetic than just about anyone else on the planet.
When Abigail isn’t writing, she’s drawing or painting, or playing with her second niece, Mitchelle. She’s interested in exploring earth, self and healing through her works, and writes in hopes that people can understand the uniqueness and power of femininity and being human.
