Providence Moyo is a rising voice in Zimbabwe’s climate communication space, committed to reshaping how climate stories are told and received. As a journalist and community development reporter with Community Podium, Providence weaves narratives that bring grassroots realities into national conversations. Her recent participation in a climate change training for journalists in Harare, where she deepened her understanding of audience-centered communication, reflects her continuous pursuit of impact through storytelling.

A postgraduate student of Journalism and Media Studies at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Providence is equally grounded in academic rigor and on-the-ground reporting. She believes that climate change is not just an environmental issue—it’s a lived experience shaped by identity, geography, and access. Through her work, she champions inclusive climate literacy, community-led development, and the power of local stories in driving global awareness.
