Godwin Monday Mayaki

Godwin Mayaki is the Convener of Climate Change Writers, a program he leads as part of the TeraShift Sustainability Initiative. In this role, he provides strategic, intellectual, and editorial leadership to a growing community of writers, researchers, and advocates focused on climate change, environmental justice, and systems transformation.

Godwin established Climate Change Writers to respond to a critical gap in climate action. While scientific evidence and policy frameworks continue to evolve, the ability to communicate climate realities in ways that resonate with the public, decision makers, and institutions remains limited. Under his leadership, the program equips emerging and established writers with the skills, context, and platforms required to translate climate science, policy, and lived experience into clear, persuasive, and accountable narratives.

With a professional background spanning technology, growth strategy, and civic focused initiatives, Godwin brings a multidisciplinary perspective to climate storytelling.
